SK Gaming wins their first event since their roster change, by topping fnatic 2-0 in the Grand Final at Global Challenge Chengdu.
The Grand Final at Global Challenge Chengdu finalizes as SK Gaming overcame fnatic 2-0, in one of the most intense and clutch matches between the two teams.
Frist map saw SK started CT on nuke, losing 6-9 as fnatic played a great T half. SK then went to play great T play also, which went to a 9-6 score for SK, forcing the map into overtime. Here SK once again took the most rounds winning 3-2 as T. Second half fnatic failed to snatch the needed rounds, seeing SK take a 3-1 score, leading to a 21-18 win for SK.

Moving on to second map train, SK got to start CT and this time things rolled much better. A 11-4 score was brought home, before switching sides. It was uphill for fnatic fairly many rounds, as SK was breathing down their neck. Never the less fnatic managed to bring a 11-4 home and once again overtime was needed. First half of the overtime SK started T, and impressing took a 1-4 score. As T fnatic had no luck to overcome SK, as they took a 2-0 score, winning 21-16 and 2-0 overall.

SK Gaming hereby win the first event since the arrival of Johan "face" Klasson and Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström.

With the win they pocket $15.000 and a direct invite to the Extreme Masters IV Global Finals next year.
